Third graders have been learning about space, shape, and the artist Matisse! They created windows in Matisse's style using geometric and organic shapes.
First graders have been working very hard on their winter self portraits, complete with their own painted plaid paper!
Third graders learned about the artist Kandinsky and how he created abstract art. They then learned how to blend oil pastels to turn circles into spheres, about background, foreground and overlapping.
This was a TOP SECRET project that I promised I wouldn't share until after the holidays : ) The KG kiddos made these beautiful clay tree ornaments! We hope you love them as much as we had fun making them!
